Racking up record-breaking awards and nominations around the world, including multiple Golden Globe and Academy Award victories, La La Land from writer and director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash) stars Ryan Gosling as a Los Angeles jazz pianist who falls in love with an actress portrayed by Emma Stone. The two sing and dance their way through several numbers by Justin Hurwitz with lyrics by the Tony-nominated songwriting team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. In addition to the soundtrack and the score, composed and arranged by Hurwitz and performed by a 90-piece orchestra, this complete collection adds unreleased bonus tracks not included on the individual albums.

Interscope Records releases La La Land: The Complete Musical Experience via all digital retailers. The album includes both the film’s original soundtrack and score, plus several previously unreleased tracks. The track-listing mimics the song sequence in Lionsgate’s original musical film and offers listeners a complete at-home audio experience of La La Land. “After putting out the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and Original Motion Picture Score, we thought listeners might enjoy an album that lays out both the songs and score, as well as additional tracks that hadn’t been released, to create an experience that would feel almost like watching the movie”, says composer Justin Hurwitz. “This album flows together beautifully and I think is a great way to relive the music of La La Land”. Hurwitz won 2017 Golden Globe Awards for “Best Score”, as well as “Best Original Song” with lyricists Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for “City of Stars”.
