The pianist Slava Kantcheff and the percussionist Andreas Keller set new standards with their extraordinary project: “Two Worlds – One Vision”. When the two artists met for the first time, it was immediately clear: Kantcheff & Keller, piano & drums, two musical worlds, have a common vision: Keys & Sticks can play together. With a great deal of imagination and mutual inspiration, Kantcheff & Keller create an incomparable sound in their musical interplay that does not yet exist and harmonise on their instruments until the Grand Final.
Slava Kantcheff has been playing piano concerts with large symphony orchestras since he was ten and studied at the legendary Conservatoire National Sup’erieur de Musique in Paris. With Peter Horton, she hosts his television series “Horton’s Little Night Music” and “Horton’s Bistro” and is his congenial partner on the piano in almost 4000 concerts. Andreas Keller is a passionate percussionist. He combines his passion with studies in drums and percussion in America at the world-renowned Musicians Institute (P.I.T.) in Los Angeles, from which he graduated with distinction. In Germany, Andreas Keller is a sought-after session musician in well-known recording recording studios, playing with national and international rock, pop and jazz greats: Al Di Meola, Bill Evans, Sigi Schwab and many more.
