Some strong ’70s R&B from the great songwriter Lamont Dozier. It was one of the better combinations of socio-political commentary and urgent soul vocals done in the period. The title cut, as well as the single “Fish Ain’t Bitin” and “Out Here On My Own,” were sizable hits.
