Johnny Contardo thrilled audiences – especially his devoted female fans (*raises hand proudly* :) – with his glorious, romantic tenor voice and his stratospheric falsetto on the Sha-Na-Na TV variety show and their sold-out tours in the ’70s and early ’80s.Johnny released a solo album of pop/rock tunes called Changeover, which, while a departure from the ’50s love ballads he was famous for, still showcased his extraordinary voice and his rare gift for delivering a love song with deep, tangible passion and emotion, straight to the listener’s heart.

Happily, Johnny is still performing, still captivating his loyal fans to this day.
