Klezmer musician Giora Feidman knows about the touching essence of music like no other and expresses his impressive attitude towards life in it. He has always been committed to peace – and has come to appreciate more and more the friendships he has made as a result. The clarinetist and his friends recorded the CD “Friendship” to spread Feidman’s message of peace and reconciliation across national borders, cultural areas, religions and generations. Music serves as their universal language: “When I record my instrument, I carry a spiritual message of peace, of ‘shalom,’ into the world,” says the clarinetist

Even though Feidman is aware that people cannot be brought together as easily as notes, he firmly believes that music can unite them in peace and friendship.
