In almost fifteen years of existence, The Duke Spirit have beautifully refined their rock’n’roll. And while Liela Moss’ crew’s singular blend of shoegaze, garage rock and cold wave has always kept a kind of fervour, Sky Is Mine shows the British band under a more radiant light than ever. Although it might be misleading to describe this beautifully dark, almost gloomy, music with the term “radiant”… Much like Wolf Alice or the Kills, the Duke Spirit have perfectly assimilated their multiple influences to create their own style. It is worth noting that Josh T Pearson from the cult band Lift To Experience  is involved on the song How Could, How Come.
