A refreshing view of Georg Friedrich Händel opens Rolf Zielke in its new commercial jazz project. Of the Berlin pianist Rolf Zielke arranged impressions from the different compositions of Handel’s music for his trio. A promising venture: Handel’s music, which is dominated by Baroque joie de vivre meets, while the rhythmic sensuality of South America and the sparkling joy of playing this rousing jazz trio. Rolf Zielke bows to the work and spirit of Handel: His arrangements illustrate – respectfully – Handel’s original new music. Operatic arias, oratorio choirs and much more to rousing groove music – including virtuoso improvisations.
