Life to play for: The trumpet player Martin Dahanukar portrays special people together with his fellow musicians on the new album “Polaroyde” or tells of intense moments of life. The resulting poetic sound images are reminiscent of stills from the Nouvelle Vague of French cinema. Earthy drive is provided by percussionist Willy Kotoun and double bassist Philipp Moll. On guitar, Dimitri Howald lends the music lyrical breadths and space for the mysterious, suspenseful trumpet sounds in the burgeoning microcosm of the ballads.
